Just heard back from the company that I was excited to work for, so it's a no. But, that's ok. I felt a little bad for a while but also I was applying for a little senior role than what I am right now. This is good though.. I should not let one no make me sad. Time to look for other jobs now. I guess the problem with me, is I hadn't applied elsewhere after that because I liked the prospect of working there much. Also one thing lol, when I replied to the email they sent me, I fucking mistakenly said Mr. [last name] instead of Ms. [Last Name] I swear to god this was not intentional and now I just sound like a jerk. And it was too late when I realized I sent the wrong pronoun. Fuck me!
I think I need to constantly search and apply for jobs... or should I just wait for a while at my current job (which honestly is not that bad, it just doesn't sponser visa but the main thing is there's no other engineers than me. Eveything I do, I need to learn by myself.. and I want to work somewhere with things on scale.. learning by myself is not bad either though. I am perfectly fine with my job but again yeah just the visa and the pay is a little less than I expected. ) Now this blog is slowly turning into a career blog. I think it's equally important to talk about failures as well as successes. Although, haven't really had a big success in a while. But again, what is a big success anyways. I am in a way better position than I was a year before so.. that's is a big success.
I also scheduled my final interview for google yesterday. It's towards the end of September. So, will need to study for that. Andd also I am learning Spanish and German at the same time. I reached 17 days in Duolingo which is also cool. I have been going to the gym regularly and eating healthy. So there you go man!! You've got this! Someone told me that I keep motivating myself in my blogs lol. I just realized that I do this.
What's next ? I think I do need a solid plan. I do have it to some extent.
1. Keep going to the Gym and become a greek god in a year (or two)
2. Study DSA and keep doing leetcode daily for an hour or two.
3. Keep learning more about Flutter and Dart on job.
4. Have fun. Don't take things too seriously. Chill.
That's it honestly. And I am doing all four. Oh and
5. Occasionally write blogs. Make it daily if possible
6. Contribute to open source. (I added it after a while).
Anyways that is it. I will resume working for rest of the day. Made some good progress before lunch today. Off we go. I need a consistent writing schedule. Will try to post everyday at 11:00 pm before sleep. Also, about the newsletter, I will start publishing it starting next Tuesday. I promise. I just need a good system to capture, process, and publish everything. The first few issues are probably not going to be that good, but I think it'll gradually start getting better.
Until Next Time, (which is everyday at 11:00 pm EST lol)
