If you know me, you know that I am a Tesla fanboy.. andddd I drove Tesla for the first time today. I need to renew my license so I didn’t take it to the main road but just drove it around the block. It felt a little different. You don’t really need to use brakes that often, if you stop accelerating, it’s like hitting a break because it’ll come to stop. Also, just the gears are also a little different. Turning, left and right also is so easy. I can just look at the dashboard. So, that’s one step closer to checking off my bucket list of owing a Tesla. We are getting there guys. In a year or two I will own one too!!!
Also, I am typing from my iPad right now. Honestly, the onscreen keyboard is good. I am typing like I would on my keyboard and the autocorrect and the keyboard just works well.
Anyways, it’s been about a week now that I have been in Ohio. Loved the suburban living here. My brother has a small kid and a 5 year old. I just read her a bedtime story and I couldn’t be more happy. I loved spending time with them and playing with my daughter (that’s what I need to call her, because you call her Chori in Nepali). I don’t know if I will ever get married but just the aspect of having a house in the suburbs, spending time with kids, taking them to the classes, reading bedtime stories, sounds fun. I think it’d be worth spending time on it.
Also, in my quest of learning to become a suburban dad, I learned to mow the grasses in the lawn today. I also learned to make biryani today and also made Raita to go along with it. It’s almost 11 now and I have an early morning flight. Oh shit, I almost forgot to mention that I bought 3 new Nepali kinda dresses. My plan is to make my wardrobe fully consist of Nepali clothes and some occasional casual clothes.
So, there’s a friend of mine how is too deep into fashion. She has a really good sense of fashion, she keeps sending me TikToks on men fashion, and I save all of those. If I do move to Seattle, I will go on a big haul with her and do all my shopping. Then have a fixed wardrobe. My plan is to not own more than 10 pieces of clothing at any time. If I want to own something new, I need to either give it away or sell may current items to make room for that.
Anyways taking about Seattle my recruiter is taking too long to send me the offer letter. She said she would try to send it by the end of this week and this week has ended, so I probably need to wait until next week now. Which sucks kinda. But that’s fine too. Next week, (tomorrow) I will be traveling to Chicago. I have taken three days off next week so I will probably spend that time just traveling that area. Might book a hotel or Airbnb.
anyways, getting late here. I will go to sleep now. I’ve enjoyed my time here, and it’s kinda sad that I have to leave too soon. I met my cousin brother in 6 years lol. I will try to come visit as often as possible.
With that being said, I will be meeting my other cousins brother in 4 years now. Excited for that too!!
We miss the song of the day :(
